well...... there is a saying in Nepali......"Khane Mukh lai Jhuga le Chekdaina....."

i also think so....
those 1st yr guys who drink and smoke will continue drinking and smoking even though we put them on our side or not
and another thing is that the cost of drinks is not included in the fresher party's cost...its individual.......

any how i also think little bit that from the very first day those 1st guys should not be encouraged..but it depends on the individual thinking

so i believe in one thing......Freedom in Thinking and speaking and doing things............
its all about thinkin Crying or Very sad

am not against.. the tradition. till u follow the tradition..
well.. guys..
i dont. think.. that. this was the tradition of inculcating.. the drinking habits. or encouraging them to drink.. right from the freshers...
seems.. like.. its.. all about drinking.. that.. informals.. is all about..

this really need to be checked....

this is not. really fair...

In MNNIT the nepali pariwar has a tradition..... all the seniors have to give the fresher party to the first year and all the juniors have to give the farewell party to the final yr dais and didis..........
But nowadays the voice against this tradition is rising up!!!!!!
Not exactly against the tradition of giving the fresher and farewell parties but against the custom of collecting money. Basketball

In the fresher party all the seniors have to take the cost of the first year guys and in the farewell all the juniors have to...

So the voice is against the way of collecting money.........
according to the voice all the people should pay the money equally whether it's a first year in fresher or its a final year in farewell......... affraid

So before this voice is really high and the conflict goes on

plzz be free to express ur thoughts!!!!!! albino
